About the role
The Division of Biological and Biomedical Systems invites applications for a full-time, ranked non-tenure-track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor faculty position in Biology. This 12-month, benefit-eligible role focuses on teaching undergraduate and possibly graduate courses, including Cell Biology, upper-level critical thinking courses, and courses within your expertise. The position offers ranked promotion opportunities and supports a positive work/life balance.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and possibly graduate courses, such as Cell Biology and upper-level critical thinking courses.
- Contribute to existing courses or develop new ones based on your expertise.
- Mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
- Ph.D., M.D., D.D.S., or D.V.M. by the start date (required).
- Experienced MS or MA candidates with significant biological teaching experience will also be considered.
- Postdoctoral experience is encouraged.
- Experience teaching biological concepts.
- Potential or demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring.
