About the role

The Ohio University Regional Higher Education (Lancaster Campus) and the College of Health Sciences and Professions invite applications for the Director of Clinical Education, Respiratory Therapy position. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of the Respiratory Therapy program.

Responsibilities

  • Cook Coordinate all clinical activities with the Director of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Provide clinical and didactic instruction to students.
  • Supervise students during clinical rotations.
  • Develop clinical schedules, syllabi, and orientation materials.
  • Evaluate and mentor clinical instructors and preceptors.
  • Maintain all required clinical documentation (immunizations, background checks, certifications, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with CoARC accreditation standards.
  • Manage and maintain clinical site agreements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy. At least 4 years of professional experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a CoARC-accredited program or as a clinical instructor/preceptor. Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Master’s or Doctorate in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
