About the role

Responsibilities
- Teach introductory undergraduate computer science and cybersecurity courses and laboratories.
- Contribute to recruitment of students.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students.
- Participate in course and program assessment and development.
- Engage in university/community service.
Requirements
- A PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity, or a PhD in Cybersecurity with a focus on Computer Science, or a related field.
- An MS in Computer Science with extensive industry experience may be considered.
- Significant industry, entrepreneurial, and/or teaching experience is preferred.
- Potential research contributions to the Center for Aerospace Resilience are a priority.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to write and speak effectively in English.
- Prospective research contribution to the Center for Aerospace Resilience.
- Three letters of reference.
Skills
- Knowledge of Computer Science and Cybersecurity.
- Experience with aviation/aerospace applications is desirable.
- Ability to teach introductory undergraduate computer science and cybersecurity courses and laboratories.
