Assistant/Associate Professor of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Pharmacology

Position Summary

The Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Pharmacology (BMBP) at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position.

Responsibilities

• Build a research program that investigates fundamental mechanisms of human health and disease
• Complement existing programs in BMBP and at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute, or the Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases
• Maintain a research program that is competitive for external funding
• Contribute to graduate and professional education at IUSM

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in biochemistry, pharmacology, molecular biology, or a closely related field
