Assistant / Associate Professor in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care

About the role

The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tennessee invites applications for a full-time clinical or tenure track faculty position in small animal emergency and critical care (ECC).

Responsibilities

• Share an enthusiasm for teaching excellence, strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and compassionate patient care while actively supporting an inclusive teaching and work environment.
• Teach small animal emergency and critical care to professional students, interns, and residents.
• Contribute to research programs.
• Present continuing education presentations at the local and national levels.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care or completion of an ACVECC approved residency program in emergency and critical care.
