Assistant/Associate/ Professor-In-Residence of Clinical Sciences (Endodontics), School of Dental Medicine [R0135266]
About the role
The School of Dental Medicine is seeking applications to fill two (2) full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track Faculty-In-Residence of Clinical Sciences. Responsibilities include management of the pre-doctoral endodontic curriculum, including pre-clinical and clinical endodontic courses; and supervision and delivery of patient care both in a general dentistry clinical environment and specialty clinic. Academic and clinical support for Advanced Education programs in General Practice Residency, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics is required. Opportunity for intramural faculty practice/extramural private practice is available.
Responsibilities
- Management of the pre-doctoral endodontic curriculum, including pre-clinical and clinical endodontic courses

Requirements
- D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- Completion of specialty program in Endodontics from a CODA approved dental school
- Eligible for licensure in Nevada
- Licensure in Nevada requires that the candidate has graduated from a CODA approved dental school in the United States or Canada
- Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date
Qualifications
- Three years of experience in a dental teaching environment
- Board certification in Endodontics is highly desirable
