Assistant/Associate/Professor Critical Care Anesthesiologist

Position Details

The Department of Anesthesiology at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont /University of Vermont Medical Center, in affiliation with the University of Vermont Medical Group, is seeking a Board certified or Board eligible Attending Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine. This position is a mix of all types of anesthesia including coverage of our Surgical Intensive Care and Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU Services, pediatrics (older than 3), neurosurgery, and obstetrics. This is a full-time clinical scholar pathway faculty position at the Assistant or Associate or Professor level based at the University of Vermont Medical Center. The ideal candidate has an interest in supporting our teaching, research, clinical and administrative missions.

• Provide clinical anesthesiology care to patients as directed by Department Chair or delegate including main Operating Rooms and ambulatory areas.
• Direct anesthesia care in other critical care areas of the medical center.

Responsibilities

This position will be mix of solo and supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), Anesthesiology Assistants (CAAs) and residents as appropriate.
