Assistant/Associate/Professor Breast Radiologist

About the role

The UPMC/University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiology is seeking to expand its breast imaging service and is now accepting applications for academic breast imagers.

Responsibilities

• Provide state-of-the-art comprehensive care at nine locations throughout Pittsburgh, including Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, the Hillman Cancer Center, and the UPMC community hospitals and imaging centers.
• Offer a variety of procedures, including digital mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, sonography (including screening), image-guided breast biopsy, needle and radioactive seed localization, ductography, and breast MRI.
• Teach and conduct research within the department.

Requirements

• MD degree or equivalent
• Board-eligible or certified in radiology
• Eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency
• Completion of a chest imaging fellowship (or equivalent experience)
• ABR certified or eligible

Qualifications

• Previous work experience and publication/funding history are preferred.
