About the role
The Department of Breast Imaging, Division of Diagnostic Imaging, at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center invites applications for a full-time, clinical faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent, comprehensive, and compassionate care for patients.
- Provide multimodality breast imaging expertise, including oncology-focused Mammography, MRI, outpatient ultrasonography and ultrasound guided biopsies and other radiologic procedures.
- Educate medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Develop academic and scholarly programs and projects to advance an understanding of cancer;
- Foster interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to clinical care, research, and education.
Requirements
- Medical degree
- A board-certification or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology
- Licensure by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners
- Certification in either Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging
- Prior research experience and publications in Breast Imaging is highly desirable
Qualifications
