About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Eastern Virginia Medical School is seeking a Board-certified or board-eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Consultative Complex OB Care
  • Prenatal Diagnosis & Genetic Counseling
  • Obsetric Ultrasound and Imaging
• Inpatient Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Labor & Delivery Triage and Management
  • Antepartum Service
• Call Responsibilities:
  • Participate in shared night and weekend call schedule
  • Provide backup consultative support
  • Supervise inpatient antepartum and delivery unit coverage

Requirements

• MD or DO Board certified eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Currently licensed or able to obtain license in Virginia
• At least 1 year of MFM work experience is preferred; however, new/upcoming fellowship graduates are also welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Both academic appointment and salary are commensurate with qualifications and are highly competitive on a regional and national level.
