Assistant/Associate Professor - Accounting

About the role

The School of Business at North Carolina Central University seeks a 9‑month, tenure‑track Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate (and possibly graduate) accounting courses, including online instruction.
• Participate in curriculum development and the program’s assurance of learning efforts.
• Maintain an active program of scholarship.
• Engage in service activities.

Qualifications

• Earned Ph.D. in Business with a major in Accounting from an AACSB‑accredited institution.
• Demonstrated potential for quality teaching and research.
• ABD candidates from AACSB‑accredited universities may be considered at the instructor level.

Skills and Preferences

• Teaching interests in accounting systems, data analytics, and tax.
• Experience using SAP is preferred.
