About the role

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) in the University of Kentucky’s College of Health Sciences is currently accepting applications for a full-time (12-month), Faculty Member to serve as the Program Director for Doctorate in Audiology Program. We invite you to become part of a dynamic department to meet instructional and administrative needs within the newly approved three-year program organized in collaboration with the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery in the College of Medicine.

This is a tenure eligible position. This position will be in-person. The primary responsibilities of the Program Director will be to provide visionary and strategic leadership for our Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program, ensuring academic excellence, innovation in clinical education, and continued accreditation compliance. This individual will be responsible for overseeing curriculum development, faculty coordination, student advising, and clinical partnerships in collaboration with Director of Clinical Education. The Program Director will also mentor faculty, engage in scholarly activities and recruit students while fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Doctoral Degree in Audiology (PhD, AuD, EdD) or related area
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology
  • Kentucky audiology licensure or eligibility
  • Preference given to those with experience in program administration
  • Qualifications
