Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (WOT) in Radiology, Abdominal Imaging

Position Overview

The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is recruiting for one full-time (100% FTE) faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding, commensurate with experience, to join the department with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.

Position Details

The base salary range for this position will be: $33,355 - $41,000 per month ($400,260 - $492,000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.

The University of Washington Department of Radiology covers many sites, including the University of Washington Medical Center (Montlake, Northwest, and Eastside clinics), Harborview Medical Center, Veteran's Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, and has an affiliate agreement for training with Seattle Children's Hospital. All UW faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

Qualifications

• An M.D. or D.O. degree, or foreign equivalent in medicine
• Foreign medical graduates must have completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification exams, which include the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
• Successful completion of a Radiology Residency Program, either in the USA or abroad
• Successful completion of an Abdominal or Body Imaging Fellowship, either in the USA or abroad
• Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Diagnostic Radiology, ABR board-eligibility, or a foreign equivalent
• Eligibility for a medical license to practice in Washington State
