Position Overview

The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is recruiting one full-time (100% FTE) faculty position at the levels of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding to join the Pediatric Radiology Division based at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington with an anticipated start date of December 1, 2025.

The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is recruiting one full-time (100% FTE) faculty position at the levels of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding to join the Pediatric Radiology Division based at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington with an anticipated start date of December 1, 2025. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate and full Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.

Associate and full Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O., or foreign equivalent, in medicine
• Possess or be eligible for full medical licensure in Washington State
• American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification, or eligibility
• Successful completion of an ACGME pediatric radiology fellowship
• Excellence in academic achievement as demonstrated by a record of scientific presentation and/or publications
