Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Clinical Restorative Dentistry (AC Track)
About the role
The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time faculty position in the Academic Clinician track at the assistant, associate, or professor level. The role calls for a person who, through excellence in teaching and clinical practice in prosthodontics, is able to build and maintain the Department's reputation nationally and internationally through leadership and direction of Department activities.
Responsibilities
- Teaching in predoctoral (both clinical and pre-clinical) and postdoctoral education programs
- Research and service to the community
- Projects as assigned by the Division Director of PG Prosthodontics, Associate Chair/Chair of the department
Qualifications
- DMD/DDS degree or equivalent
- Eligibility for a Pennsylvania dental license
- Experience with teaching and mentoring students
- Experience in research and scholarship
Preferred qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Prosthodontics
