Qualifications
- Dental degree from an institution accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association or foreign equivalent.
- DDS/DMD degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligibility to obtain a West Virginia dental license or West Virginia teaching permit (Please visit the West Virginia Board of Dental Examiners for information regarding licensure).
- Current BLS certification recognized by the American Heart Association.
- Expertise in all aspects of general restorative dentistry.
- A history of documented competence in clinical practice, teaching, administration, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A demonstrated commitment to advancing the dental profession.
- Evidence of positive leadership skills.
- A strong commitment to student development, patient care, academic excellence, service, and collegiality.
Requirements
The primary responsibility involves didactic and clinical teaching in restorative dentistry for predoctoral students, high quality scholarly activity, service-related activities, and faculty practice.
