Position description

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence among its faculty, staff, and student body. We are currently seeking physicians in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), Gynecologic Oncology (GynOnc), Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Complex Family Planning (FP), Hospitalist, and General Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn).

The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and teaching, providing clinical care, and/or conducting research.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree, a PhD, or an MD/PhD in areas of reproductive medicine or a health related field.
• Candidates with an MD or equivalent degree must be board eligible or board certified in areas of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences.
• Candidates with an MD or equivalent degree must be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
