The Division of Complex Benign Gynecology Surgery | Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking full-time faculty who share our commitment to health equity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Unrestricted Texas Medical license and fully credentialed before the start date
- Expertise or interest in MIGS, endometriosis, and complex benign gynecology
- For subspecialty positions: completion of a fellowship in the respective subspecialty
- Fellowship training in Complex Benign Gynecology Surgery / MIGS or requisite experience in the field, preferred
Job Duties
- Perform complex surgery in a high-volume referral practice focused on advanced endometriosis, complex pelvic pain, fibroids, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, robotic surgery, vNOTES, fertility-preserving surgery, and pelvic reconstructive procedures within a rapidly growing multidisciplinary Endometriosis Center at the Pavilion for Women
- Utilize state-of-the-art, advanced minimally invasive and robotic platforms, including Da Vinci Xi and SP systems, within a collaborative academic environment to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex and advanced-stage disease, including bowel, urinary tract, diaphragmatic, and extrapelvic endometriosis
- Actively participate in training fellows through our nationally recognized Complex Benign Gynecology/MIGS Fellowship Program, with extensive opportunities for surgical mentorship and curriculum development. Potential role as Associate Program Director within our AAGL-accredited fellowship program
- Educate OB/GYN residents and medical students through surgical teaching, didactic conferences, simulation training, and mentorship. Faculty play a key role in shaping the next generation of gynecologic surgeons and academic leaders
- Participate in research and innovation with strong institutional support for clinical research, surgical innovation, robotics, endometriosis research, outcomes studies, and multidisciplinary collaborations
