Position description
The successful candidates will manage a diverse patient population, provide coverage at the VAHCS San Diego, and educate and teach students, residents, and fellows in Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Potential areas of subspecialty focus include Neuro-Urology and Interstitial Cystitis. The positions offer a dynamic environment for growth and impact in both clinical and academic settings, with leadership opportunities such as clinic directorship or fellowship program leadership.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.

Qualifications
- Candidates must have an MD or equivalent or MD/PhD in health-related fields.
- Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the California Medical Board.
- Candidates must have completed a Urology residency program.
- Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.
- Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in NeuroUrology are preferred.
- Candidates with Spanish language fluency are encouraged to apply.
