About the role

The Department of Family Medicine at UC San Diego is seeking applications for a Family Medicine Physician position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The successful candidate will manage patient panels in ambulatory care and engage in scholarly activity, teaching, mentoring, and service.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient panels in ambulatory care
• Deliver high-quality patient care
• Engage in scholarly activity
• Teach and mentor students and residents
• Participate in departmental and programmatic activities
• May include inpatient care, obstetrics, and outpatient procedures based on specialty and department needs

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine or related field
• California medical license or equivalent certification/permit
• Completed ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency training program
