Assistant, Associate or Full Clinical Professor - Neuro-Oncologist
About the role
The Department of Neurological Surgery and Department of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a Neuro-Oncologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to join the Neuro-Oncology Program. Applicants should be board eligible or certified in Neurosurgery, Neurology, or Medical Oncology with additional subspecialty training in Neuro-Oncology at the time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Conduct phase-1 and phase-2 studies in clinical research
- Engage in translational research or correlative science linked to clinical trials
- Focus on clinical research in primary glioma, including newly diagnosed and recurrent patients
- Work within the framework of the Brain Tumor SPORE Grant and the Brain Tumor Center
- Be appointed at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence Series based on experience and background
Requirements
Applicants must have a strong interest in clinical research and previous experience in the conduct of phase-1 and phase-2 studies. Additional interests in translational research or correlative science linked to clinical trials are preferred.
Qualifications
- Board eligible or certified in Neurosurgery, Neurology, or Medical Oncology
- Additional subspecialty training in Neuro-Oncology at the time of hire

Pay
The minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700 - $405,900, determined by rank and step according to the posted UC salary scales.
