Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Social and Administrative Sciences

About the role

LIU College of Pharmacy seeks faculty applicants in the areas of Social/Administrative and Behavioral Sciences (SAS) at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Rank is commensurate with experience and credentials. Eligibility for a tenure-track appointment will be determined based on candidate qualifications at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Didactic teaching and course coordination assigned based on expertise and departmental needs
• Scholarship with significant contributions to Social/Behavioral Administrative Sciences, including but not limited to socio-behavioral aspects of patient care, health outcomes, pharmacoepidemiology, and medication utilization and cost
• Service to the department, College, University, and the profession

Qualifications

• PhD in Social and Administrative Sciences, Public Health Policy and Administration, Health Economics, or related field
• Documented successful teaching experience
• Active productive research program with a documented record of externally funded grants
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team member
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
