Overview

The Department of Biomedical and Translational Sciences (BTS), Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University (ODU) seeks exceptional applicants for two tenure-track / tenured faculty positions at the ASSISTANT and ASSOCIATE or FULL PROFESSOR level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop or maintain an extramurally funded research program.
  • Teach and mentor medical and graduate students.
  • Contribute to departmental, institutional, and professional service.

Qualifications

  • Candidates for Assistant Professor must hold a PhD, MD or MD/PhD, have relevant postdoctoral research experience, a strong record of publication, and exceptional potential to develop an externally funded research program.
  • Candidates for Associate or Full Professor should demonstrate an established, extramurally funded research program, a strong publication record, and national recognition in their field.

Rank and Salary
