Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Accounting

Job Responsibilities

• Teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels
• Primary modality of teaching is face-to-face, with some online instruction possible
• Maintain office hours
• Engage in recruitment and retention activities
• Perform committee service
• Participate in professional outreach activities
• Support ACBSP accreditation efforts
• Engage in various service activities to the College, University, and community

Qualifications

• Earned PhD or DBA from an AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited university in Accounting or a closely related business discipline
• Rank will be commensurate with qualifications
• Preference given to candidates with experience with ACBSP accreditation
• Possession of academic credentials in specialized accounting and financial topics such as accounting information systems, forensic accounting, or energy industry accounting
• CPA license and professional experience within the candidates discipline or in a related field as an advantage
