Job Description

The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE) at the University of Florida invites applications for multiple full-time, nine-month tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. The positions have an anticipated start date of August 2026. We are seeking candidates in all areas related to Electrical & Computer Engineering. However, we have a special interest in candidates with backgrounds in Quantum Computing/Communications/Networking/Signal Processing, Advanced Packaging, Artificial Intelligence, RF Electronics, and MEMS. The faculty members will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the electrical & computer engineering curricula; initiate and sustain externally sponsored research programs; recruit and supervise graduate students; and engage in service activities for the University and the profession.

Classification Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in a related field by the start date.

Expected Salary

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
