ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR - AI Models, Systems and Applications

About the role

The Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida (UF) invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track, or tenured faculty position in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE).

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-quality publication record at UF.
• Serve as a mentor to Ph.D. students.
• Teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in CISE.
• Contribute to the Department's service activities.
• Engage with prospective and current students in recruiting, orientation, graduation, networking, and other events.
• Represent the CISE department in various functions in the Jacksonville area community.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience applying AI models and systems to specific domains, such as manufacturing, human and healthcare systems, public health, energy, transportation, and supply chain and logistics.
