Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess and treat clients with communication disorders.
- Participate in clinical education.
- Collaborate with departmental faculty to provide evidence-based services.
- Assist clinical program leadership with clinical administration or development as assigned.
- Teach in the classroom related to area/s of expertise as assigned.
- Develop areas of specialty practice.
Service Activities
- Participate effectively on departmental and university committees.
- Participate in student recruitment, admission, retention.
- Relate to and interact successfully and collegially with students and peers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, or equivalent.
- Five years of clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Licensure or license eligibility for practice in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Arizona.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Previous experience providing graduate student supervision.
- Experience with adult populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with program development.
- Experience in providing services to culturally and linguistically multifaceted populations.
- Experience with aphasia, cognitive communication disorders, and motor speech disorders.
- Spoken/written Spanish language skills.
