ASSISTANT AREA MANAGER, Facilities Management & Planning, Custodial Services
About the role
Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the University's buildings and grounds by implementing department policy and custodial operational procedures. Assist the Custodial Area Managers in all areas of activity: supervision, training, inspections, coverage of events, disciplinary issues, snow removal, response to emergencies, etc.
Responsibilities
- Implement department policy and custodial operational procedures
- Supervise, train, and inspect custodial staff
- Cover events and respond to emergencies
- Handle disciplinary issues
- Manage snow removal
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED, B.A./B.S. preferred
- Three to five years of experience
- Working nights and weekends required

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Schedule
Flexible schedule to accommodate night and weekend shifts.
