Assistant Adjunct Professor (Physician Assistant Program) UMKC School of Medicine

Duties

The medical director’s role includes:

• Advocating for the program through active participation
• Supporting the development and review of the program curriculum and competencies
• Helping shape the next generation of PAs
• Cultivating clinical partners
• Teaching
• Student academic advising and remediation support
• Committee service
• Participation in the program’s ongoing self-study, accreditation, assessment, continuous improvement processes

Qualifications

• Currently or previously licensed allopathic or osteopathic physician
• Currently or previously board-certified
• Previous teaching experience is desirable
