Assistant Adjunct Professor (Physician Assistant Program) UMKC School of Medicine
Duties
The medical director’s role includes:
- Advocating for the program through active participation
- Supporting the development and review of the program curriculum and competencies
- Helping shape the next generation of PAs
- Cultivating clinical partners
- Teaching
- Student academic advising and remediation support
- Committee service
- Participation in the program’s ongoing self-study, accreditation, assessment, continuous improvement processes
Qualifications
- Currently or previously licensed allopathic or osteopathic physician
- Currently or previously board-certified
- Previous teaching experience is desirable
