About the role
The University of South Dakota department of Athletics is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. Position: The University of South Dakota Assistant Director of Ticket Operations is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Coyote Ticket Office; renewing season tickets for football, men’s & women’s basketball, and volleyball, acquiring new season ticket holders, and developing group sales opportunities. Additionally, this position will assist with the hiring and training of game day support staff, scheduling Coyote Ticket Office personnel, and coordinating ticket operations for all home athletic events, including event reconciliation and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Coyote Ticket Office
- Renew season tickets for football, men’s & women’s basketball, and volleyball
- Acquire new season ticket holders
- Develop group sales opportunities
- Aid in the hiring and training of game day support staff
- Schedule Coyote Ticket Office personnel
- Congniderate ticket operations for all home athletic events, including event reconciliation and reporting
- Work nights and weekends, as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of one year of ticket office or related experience with intercollegiate athletics
- Knowledge and experience with Paciolan ticketing software is preferred
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision, with an irregular work schedule including weekends and evenings if necessary
- Working knowledge of NCAA rules and interpretations in relation to the ticket office is preferred
