Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Ticket Sales & Service Representative to join our ticket sales team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the growing world of professional volleyball and play a critical role in driving attendance across all venues. As a Sales Team Representative, you will focus on selling individual tickets, group packages, and season memberships for events across multiple venues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively sell single-game tickets, group packages, and season memberships for events across multiple venues.
- Engage potential customers through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the ticket sales team to meet and exceed both individual and team sales targets.
- Support ticket sales campaigns, promotions, and special offers to attract fans and boost attendance.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Represent the organization at games, events, and community outreach initiatives, promoting ticketing opportunities.
- Continuously expand knowledge of teams, players, and venues to effectively communicate their value to potential buyers.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Eager to learn more about sales, customer service, and the sports industry (previous sales experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for engaging with others.
- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Able to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, sports management, or related field a plus.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Passion for sports and a willingness to learn about ticket sales is encouraged.
- Experience with CRM software, ticketing platforms, or event coordination is a plus.
- An interest in volleyball or the sports industry is beneficial.
