About the role

The University of Strathclyde is appointing at all levels from Assistant to Full Professor. They are seeking talented new colleagues in areas of Information Retrieval, Information Behaviour, and Data Science and Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality teaching programs
• Conduct research in Information Retrieval, Information Behaviour, and Data Science and Analytics
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills
• Participate in departmental and university committees as required

Requirements

• A PhD in a relevant field
• Proven track record of successful research and publication
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field
• Strong research background in Information Retrieval, Information Behaviour, and Data Science and Analytics
• Experience in teaching and curriculum development
