Key Responsibilities
- Generate detailed asset-specific schedules from finalized time-phased production plans for K4 and Bayport Manufacturing Assets.
- Utilize the OMP OPR planning system for production planning and scheduling activities.
- Align production details with business strategies- including financial objectives (cost/cash), run rates, inventory policies, and customer service levels.
- Administer production schedules within the defined planning horizon.
- Ensure ongoing maintenance and transparent communication of the schedule across the supply chain.
- Proactively identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, customer order issues, and quality concerns by collaborating closely with Master Schedulers, Materials Planners, and order management personnel such as CSR (Customer Service Representative) and DRP (Demand Requirements Planner).
- Communicate changes or deviations in production schedules, supply shifts, and proposed solutions to relevant stakeholders.
- Support Supply Chain activities for key business and global projects.
- Cook up secondary processing tasks, including rework and repackaging, of finished products.
- Maintain performance metrics, comparing actual output to established standards.
- Prioritize orders through the OAR process during periods of constraint.
- Act as the primary interface between manufacturing and the supply chain, optimizing plant schedules according to operational capacities.
- Integrate production planning with maintenance scheduling requirements.
- Confirm material availability in alignment with asset schedules.
Requirements
- Professional with significant knowledge within own discipline and knowledge of related disciplines, completing specialized and/or moderately complex tasks under moderate supervision.
- May supervise employees, focused on task performance and delivery of specialized processes.
- Developed a detailed understanding of key business drivers through multiple years of experience.
- Understands potential solutions to problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects) using experience, judgment and precedents.
- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
