Responsibilities
- Execute safety initiatives and inventory recovery programs
- Reduce lost inventory, time, and assets
- Monitor surveillance equipment
- Partnership with district asset protection manager in implementing and overseeing AP initiatives
- Identify, observe, and apprehend shoplifters and others involved in criminal activity
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity, honesty, and professionalism
- Ability to diffuse confrontational situations
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- One year of retail asset protection experience
- Multistore asset protection experience
- Wicklander Certification
- Operational knowledge of CCTV systems
- Experience conducting plainclothes surveillance
- Experience conducting internal and external investigations
- Knowledge of AP-related case reporting and criminal prosecution
- Ability to audit for compliance and communicate AP awareness
- Experience working with law enforcement and preparing case reports
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner
- Ability to manage a varied schedule and work weekends
- Ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
