Asset Protection Specialist

About the Role

As the Asset Protection Specialist, no two days are ever the same. You focus on preventing loss and controlling shrink by monitoring various areas of the store for fraud, compliance discrepancies, and other related activities. You identify potential concerns through video surveillance and other systems, and apprehend individuals in accordance with company policy, local, and state laws, with safety as the prevailing priority. The Asset Protection Specialist ensures the store is a safe and secure environment for customers, associates, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store areas for fraud, compliance discrepancies, and other related activities.
• Use video surveillance and other systems to identify potential security concerns.
• Apprehend individuals in accordance with company policy and legal regulations, prioritizing safety.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, associates, and business partners.
• Work in varying environments, including inside the store and its perimeter.
• Approach challenges positively and build relationships with team members.
• Teach and guide others on asset protection practices.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or related fields.
• Commitment to safety and welfare of self and others.
• Ability to work in varying environments.
• Positive, kind approach to challenges.
• Enthusiasm for building relationships and teaching others.
