Asset Protection - Security Ambassador - Ontario Mills Mall Rack

As an asset protection security ambassador, you’ll help prevent loss of inventory through interactions and training with coworkers, maintaining a visible presence throughout the store, and engaging with customers in a professional and pleasant manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a timely, professional, and personable manner, responding to their needs
• Maintain a visible presence by wearing a Nordstrom-provided security officer style uniform
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities
• Assess and assist in emergency situations
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits, training, and education
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality

Requirements

• A valid security license is required for this role in Washington DC; Denver, Colorado; New York City, New York; St. Louis, Missouri; and Oregon
• Ability to maintain an active, visible floor presence as a deterrent in designated areas
• Composure when dealing with safety issues, including suspects who engage in aggressive behavior
• Accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership
• Meet any local licensing requirements
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs

Pay

$21.65 - $22.55 hourly
