Asset Manager - Regional

About the role

Regional Asset Manager overseeing data center IT infrastructure assets across a designated region.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage inventory databases for servers, storage, networking, GPUs, and critical hardware
• Conduct physical and system-based asset audits for accuracy and compliance
• Manage asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement, including RMA processes
• Generate reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and operational metrics
• Perform financial and utilization analysis to optimize costs and asset efficiency
• Develop policies, standards, and best practices for asset management
• Ensure compliance with controls, security, and industry regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting infrastructure deployment and expansion
• Communicate risks, shortages, and optimization opportunities to leadership
• Lead process improvements in asset tracking and lifecycle management

Requirements

• Bachelor's in IT, Business, or related field
• Experience managing IT assets in data center or cloud environments
• Knowledge of data center hardware and asset management systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and financial asset analysis
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Willingness to travel as needed
