  • Ability to analyze financial statements, operating budgets, property performance, and other data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Appreciation that successful affordable housing requires more than financial performance; values resident experience, stable housing, strong partnerships, and culturally responsive service.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple properties, projects, deadlines, and competing priorities without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Thoughtful problem-solver who can identify issues, evaluate options, and work collaboratively toward practical solutions.
  • Comfortable holding external partners accountable while maintaining positive and productive working relationships with property managers, vendors, consultants, lenders, residents, and public agencies.
  • Clear and professional communication; able to translate complex financial or operational information into clear reports, recommendations, and presentations.
  • Experience working in environments with multiple funding sources, lenders, regulatory requirements, or compliance obligations; affordable housing experience is especially valuable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; SharePoint and other collaboration platforms are a plus.
  • Experience working with Native American communities, Tribal governments, or Native-serving organizations is strongly preferred.
