About the Role
The Asset Manager oversees the investment lifecycle of a portfolio of LIHTC multifamily assets. This includes monitoring the original investment plan, communicating about performance, and reforecasting when assets have strayed from the investment plan.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth across the portfolio
- Determine effectiveness of expense-controlling and revenue-enhancing initiatives, and implement accordingly
- Establish review processes to analyze financial performance against budgets
- Conduct quarterly property visits to assess onsite performance/operations, curb appeal, and ensure Elmington standards are met
- Forecast asset performance by conducting ongoing evaluation of cash flow to maximize annual distributions to investors
- Analyze portfolio trends and external market trends impacting asset performance
- Track assets' performance through various reporting methods shared with stakeholders
- Conduct audits to ensure the portfolio is compliant with all applicable regulations
- Work closely with the development team during underwriting and due diligence efforts
- Work closely with property management team, and all lines of business across Elmington
Requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2 - 5 years' experience in asset management, real estate analytics, or similar industry (preferred but not required)

- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary
Travel Requirements
Travel up to 25% of the time.
