Asset Management Intern - Fall 2026
About the role
The Asset Management Intern will support design and documentation activities by preparing and updating drawings, floor plans, technical documents, deeds, and leases using Microsoft Office and CAD software to maintain accurate asset records and data inventories.
Research and verify asset inventory data by evaluating the accuracy of facilities, utilities, and real property records and conducting site visits to document and validate existing asset information.
Assist with facility condition assessments by collecting and entering data for architectural and MEP systems, performing quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews of asset inventories, and validating existing records.
Develop and update CAD floor plans and GIS polygons to support space utilization studies, document facility renovations and layout changes, maintain occupant information, and support campus facility management.
Responsibilities

Requirements
No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
Must have completed 60 hours towards an Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Fall 2026).
Special skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Experience with CAD (preferred).

Pay
Expected compensation range is between $23 - $29 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
