Essential Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of client meeting materials, such as Investment Review books, compliance paperwork, and meeting summaries.
- Assist in the creation and presentation of financial plans, reviews, reports, and client presentations.
- Conduct investment and project research as needed.
- Enter data into financial planning software (eMoney and Morningstar).
- Observe and document client investment and planning meetings.
- Review and verify stock compliance and trades as necessary.
- Create and analyze performance reports for investment committee meetings.
- Analyze technical market data using Dorsey Wright Point & Figure methodology.
- Participate in weekly Financial Planning and Investment team meetings.
- Identify potential business development opportunities as needed.
Qualifications
- A major in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Financial Planning preferred.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 required.
- Strong interest in a career in Wealth Management or Financial Planning.
- Demonstrated initiative and strong technology, research, and organizational skills.
- An enjoyment of research and analysis.
- A confident, poised, and professional demeanor.
- The ability to handle creative challenges and meet tight deadlines.
Pay
- Undergraduates: $18/hour
- Graduates, Post Grad, MBA: $21/hour
