Asset Management Analyst - Bethesda, MD

About the Role

As a Real Estate Analyst, you will support our operational, strategic, and investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial statements, rent rolls, and capital expenditure budgets
• Research and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data
• Lead conference calls and on-site meetings with property management partners
• Conduct property site inspections and market tours (travel may be required)
• Create financial analyses, including operating budgets, cash flow projections, and investment return calculations
• Create memos for presentation to senior personnel
• Coordinate and manage due diligence review and closing process for various transactions
• Assist with arranging and closing debt financing
• Present property performance to the entire firm quarterly
• Work closely with multiple property management teams to implement and manage business plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials, with preference for majors in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or Property Management
• 0-2 years relevant experience (including internships) working in real estate asset management
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
• Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong proficiency with Excel
