Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Asset Management Analyst to support ongoing IT Asset Management operations and multiple State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle initiatives. This onsite role will focus on maintaining accurate, complete, and auditable IT asset records; validating hardware inventory across multiple locations; and supporting the full lifecycle of computer‑related equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with IT field teams, desktop support, logistics personnel, end users, and leadership to reconcile inventory, improve asset‑management processes, and ensure assets are accurately tracked within ServiceNow. This individual will also support large‑scale deployment, refresh, recovery, and disposition efforts while producing reporting for compliance, audit, and executive oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and maintain IT hardware asset data within ServiceNow and related asset‑management systems.
  • Validate physical inventory across multiple locations and reconcile discrepancies between physical assets and system records.
  • Track computers, peripherals, and related IT equipment throughout the full asset lifecycle, including receipt, deployment, assignment, transfer, refresh, recovery, retirement, and disposal.
  • Review and improve existing asset‑management processes, procedures, data standards, and documentation.
  • Research new device models, hardware configurations, part numbers, and standards to support lifecycle and SOGR initiatives.
  • Coordinate with desktop support, IT field teams, logistics personnel, vendors, and end users to confirm asset status, location, ownership, and condition.
  • Support large‑scale device deployments, equipment refreshes, relocations, inventory sweeps, and recovery initiatives.
  • Create and distribute scheduled reports related to inventory accuracy, asset aging, deployment status, compliance, audit readiness, and lifecycle activity.
  • Identify data‑quality issues, missing records, duplicate records, and inventory discrepancies; drive them through resolution.
  • Assist with the implementation, enhancement, and adoption of new asset‑management tools, systems, and ServiceNow modules.
  • Maintain organized documentation and supporting evidence for internal controls, audits, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting IT Asset Management, hardware inventory, asset tracking, logistics, desktop operations, or technology lifecycle management.
  • Experience maintaining and reconciling asset records in ServiceNow or another enterprise asset‑management platform.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of inventory and asset data accurately.
  • Experience conducting physical inventory validation and resolving discrepancies between physical devices and system records.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams, field personnel, end users, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel, reporting, data‑analysis, documentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM), CMDB, ITSM, or related ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Experience supporting desktop support, device deployment, hardware refresh, imaging, recovery, or field‑services operations.
  • Logistics, warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory‑control, or equipment‑disposition experience.
  • Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle controls, audit requirements, chain of custody, and compliance reporting.
  • Experience in a large enterprise, government, transportation, or similarly complex operational environment.
