About the role
This is a full-time and permanent position at a local facility focused on metal fabrication.
Responsibilities
- MIG welding on various types of material
- Set up machine based on each task
- Use of cutting tools and other related equipment
- Operating forklifts and overhead crane (will be trained)
- Read and interpret drawings
- Keep workstation clean and organized
Requirements
- Must have 2+ years' experience in metal fabrication, construction, or welding
- On-the-job welding experience is preferred
- Must pass a weld test if needed
- Must use power tools and other equipment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be willing to work overtime if needed
Pay and Benefits
- Hourly rate: $23 - $27.60
- Shift differential: 15%
- Two pay raises in the first year
- Health insurance, vision, and dental available after 90 days of employment
- PTO offered during the first 30 days of employment
Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts. Overtime available.
Training
Must be willing to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks with receiving base pay. Pay: $23 - 27.60 an hour.
