Assembly Welder

About the role

This is a full-time and permanent position at a local facility focused on metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding on various types of material
• Set up machine based on each task
• Use of cutting tools and other related equipment
• Operating forklifts and overhead crane (will be trained)
• Read and interpret drawings
• Keep workstation clean and organized

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years' experience in metal fabrication, construction, or welding
• On-the-job welding experience is preferred
• Must pass a weld test if needed
• Must have ability to use power tools and other equipment
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be willing to work overtime if needed

Pay

• $23 - $27.60 an hour
• Includes a 15% shift differential
• 2 pay raises in the first year

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday 10-hour shifts
• Overtime available
