You will play a vital role in assembling and testing complex electronic and mechanical components to ensure product quality and reliability at Honeywell’s Tempe, AZ location. This on-site role reports directly to the ISC Production Supervisor and supports Honeywell’s commitment to excellence by ensuring products meet rigorous quality standards through precise assembly and thorough testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly of electronic and mechanical components following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
  • Conduct functional and environmental testing on assemblies to verify performance and reliability.
  • Identify and document defects or issues, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and assembly processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all assembly and test activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in assembly and testing of electronic or electromechanical products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, soldering, wiring, and use of hand tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
  • Experience with functional testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of test results.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and safety protocols in a production setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electronics or manufacturing preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant assembly and test experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
