Test Technician III -Weekend shift (Fri-Sun)
About the role
Join BAE's Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area as a Test Technician III for the Area 5 Factory. In this role, you will support next-generation countermeasures to help aircraft respond to evolving threats. This position is 100% on-site at the Canal Street facility in Nashua, NH.
Schedule
This position supports the 4th Shift (Weekend Day Shift), working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule consists of 36 hours worked per week with 40 hours of pay, plus a 10% pay premium.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and varied tasks to ensure production standards are met for several programs in our factory.
- Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot assembly configurations, including conducting environmental stress screening (ESS) tests on production assemblies and units.
- Utilize standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers to perform operational tests on moderately complex production components and subassemblies.
- Work closely with engineering instructions and standard test procedures to interpret data, diagnose malfunctions, designate rework instructions, and approve or reject test results.
- Lift 20-30 lbs as required by the role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4+ years of work experience in electronic testing.
- Understanding of test instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and RF analyzers.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- RF and digital analog experience.
- Experience in ESS testing.
- Experience in vibration testing (Vibe).
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $57,319 - $91,710. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
