About the role

As a Assembly/Test 1 you will be at the forefront of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and fabrication operations. You will take on a comprehensive range of tasks, ensuring precision and efficiency in both standard and non-standard environments. Your expertise will drive the continuous flow of work, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety and performance standards.
What You Will Do
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
- Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment efficiently to perform assembly tasks.
- Maintain inventory of product in assigned workstations, ensuring materials are readily available for ongoing operations.
- Perform quality work checks, identify product defects, and accurately record identified defects for corrective action.
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products based on engineering specification changes to meet quality standards.
- Adhere to all quality standards and established safety procedures, ensuring compliance and a high standard of work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, promoting efficiency and safety.
- Lift up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation, ensuring safe material handling.
- Work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day, contributing to continuous workflow.
- Be open to international travel for required training, expanding your expertise and ensuring operational excellence.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
