Assembly Technician PCs and Workstations (Part-Time)

About the role
If you are enthusiastic about PC hardware, gaming and technology trends, this is your chance to become part of our small team of like-minded individuals and help shape the future of quiet computing. We are looking for an experienced Assembly Technician (part time, flexible) that has built many PCs before and is motivated to learn a lot more. Work hours can be adjusted to your schedule but will have to be within our business hours (8am to 5pm). This position requires full on-site attendance. STEIGER DYNAMICS is located in Redwood City, California, the center of the Silicon Valley.
Responsibilities
- Assembly of highest-end PCs, Workstations and Servers
- Maintenance of tools and optimization of working environment
- Other duties related to production and R&D
Qualifications
- Strong attentiveness to detail
- Calm and precise work attitude
- Highly motivated and ready to get things done
- Active thinking
- Good verbal communication skills
- Min. 1 year or 10 PCs built of computer experience and expertise
- A customer service oriented temperament
- Creative problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware (must have built multiple PCs yourself)
- Good knowledge of the current PC hardware market and industry
- Versatility and interest in PC hardware and software, and tech in general
- Authentic, and honest personality
Pay
Compensation starting at $20/hour with evaluation every 3 months. Maximum compensation is $25.
