About the Role

The Assembly Technician role focuses on assembling wire and cable components under close supervision. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assemble wire and cable components according to provided blueprints and standard procedures
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure components meet quality standards
  • Report issues or deviations to leads or supervisors
  • Prepare materials for assembly by cutting wires to specified lengths and stripping insulation as directed
  • Support the documentation process by labeling assemblies as instructed
  • Participate in routine maintenance of assembly tools and equipment
  • Maintain an organized work area by keeping aisles and workstation clear
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions

Responsibilities

Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • Previous assembly or production experience in the electronics industry preferred
  • Eager to learn and follow instructions with strong attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environment
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and assembly procedures under supervision

Special Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required
  • ITAR requirement 120.15. Some positions may require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements
